Barry is a seasoned growth-focused career business leader with extensive public and private company leadership and Board experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings, in the U.S. and Canada, in multiple industries, including financial services, online gaming and the service industry.

Barry was the founder, Director and CEO of Chesswood Group Limited which is a financial services business traded on the TSX. He spent 20 years growing the business from $100M to $1B in 2020, with more than 30,000 commercial customers in North America. He is a veteran executive, advisor and board member.

JOSH KAUFMAN, MA

Board and Business Advisor

Josh Kaufman is the Co-Founder and Principal of InnoDev Partners. He brings over 30 years of expertise in the real estate and land development industries across Canada and the United States. His career includes senior roles in project management, development, and construction at prominent companies including Rogers Communications, SmartCentres, Dream, Fusion Homes, and Starlight Investments.

With a diverse background, Josh has managed projects in sectors including residential, retail, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure. For the past 5 years Josh has been focused on developing and constructing purpose built rental properties in Ontario and British Columbia. He has successfully delivered more than 3500 residential suites and over 10 Million square feet of commercial space throughout his career.

Josh holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Western Ontario. He is currently on the Advisory Board for Moskowitz Capital Management, and has previously served as the President and is now a Board Member of the Guelph and District Home Builders’ Association. Josh also serves as a Director for several co-operatives owned by Home Ownership Alternatives.

Milt pioneered management consulting in Canada as a Senior Partner at Ernst & Whinney; Stevenson Kellogg Ernst & Whinney (now KPMG Canada). Later becoming President of Eldon Industries Inc. when acquired in 1991 by Rubbermaid (NWL: NYSE). Former Directorships: CryptoLogic Inc. (AYA: NASDAQ); Cantrex Group Inc.; A Transamerica (AEG: NYSE); Rubbermaid Office Products Canada Inc. and HEI Central Finance Ltd. a new division of Husky Energy Inc. (HSE: TSX).

KRISTIN KUMAR, CPA, CA

Kristin is from Elfros, SK and now resides in Toronto. She is a graduate of the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. With a major in accounting, Kristin went on to complete her CPA, CA designation in 2014. Prior to joining Moskowitz Capital, she spent eight years in public accounting, dealing with all sizes of owner-managed businesses, providing sound financial advice, and acting as a contract controller. Moving to Ontario in 2019, she worked as a CFO of an auto dealership and then joined Moskowitz Capital as the Director of Finance and Operations.

MICHAEL MOSKOWITZ, MBA

Board and Business Advisor

Michael is a seasoned technology and business leader with more than 25 years across the consumer, communications, gaming, and technology sectors. He co-founded NorthStar Gaming in 2021, leading the launch of NorthStar Bets—Canada’s regulated, homegrown online casino and sportsbook—and guiding the company through its 2022 IPO and fast-paced growth. Previously, he served as Chairman & CEO of Panasonic North America, overseeing a $12B operation and driving major transformation. Earlier roles include President & CEO of XM Canada, where he expanded the business nationally and led the merger that formed SiriusXM, and President, Americas International, at Palm Inc.

Michael also brings significant governance experience, currently serving as a Director and Chair of the Executive Committee at Hillcrest Energy Technologies and as an advisor to Moskowitz Capital. His previous board roles span NorthStar Gaming, Panasonic North America, CTA, Panasonic Avionics, Hussmann Corporation, and Mobilicity.

DON MCLAUCHLIN (1949 – 2023)

Board and Business Advisor

Don was a highly respected expert in commercial finance and entrepreneurship. He had 20 years of experience in branch operations with Transamerica (AEG: NYSE) and 17 years in Executive Management with Roynat Capital. His past positions included, but were not limited to, serving on Roynat Capital’s Executive Committee, as Director of Credit Valley Golf & Country Club, as a Board Member of Consolidated Fastfrate, as Director of the Toronto Chapter of ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), and as President of Big Brothers of Canada, Edmonton Agency.

Don passed away in May 2023. He hired Brian Moskowitz at Roynat in 1997 and later became a founding member of the Moskowitz Capital Advisory Board. He was a mentor and a dear friend.
