Chesswood operates in the specialty finance markets in North America and is today one of the largest non-bank owned equipment finance businesses in the marketplace. Prior to his role with Chesswood, Mr. Shafran was President of several national service businesses, where he successfully drove growth and significantly enhanced profitability

Joshua Kaufman is responsible for the overall strategy, management and execution of Starlight’s development projects across Canada. Prior to joining Starlight Investments, he held executive management positions at Fusion Homes, Dream, and Smartcentres. With over 20 years of real estate development experience across Canad, Joshua advises Moskowitz Capital on real estate. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Western Ontario and a Masters of City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University.
